All babies started to explore the world with their months.  According to the researchers, this is so as their month is the key organ which they use satisfy their basic needs : drink milk, cry for attention etc. .   It’s until a later stage when their tiny chubby hands are so developed that they finally use their fingers to feel different sensations.  

Today, baby exhibited her readiness to explore with her hands.  We placed her on the rasied platform in our room and let her crawl and touch different things such as leather box, books, wooden coffee table etc..  She touched and felt everything with acute interest but was especially fascinated with the metal door handle affixed to the platform.  She’d tried a few times to steer away from it but still couldn’t resist its “charm”.

What’s so special with the handle?!  Babies always got eye on something which adults wouldn’t even care to have a look.

每晚baby大概7:00吃晚飯.  å¾…8:00, 大人進餐時她也同枱一起吃她”飯後甜品” — 水果或餅餅. 這晚甜品是兩塊米餅, 每塊均有兩隻成人食指般大. 

今天大家如常坐下準備 “醫肚” 便給baby一塊米餅. 沒什麼特別. 誰不知, baby拿過米餅後, 表演就正式開始.  不到一分鐘, 她居然把整塊米餅弄碎塞進口裡, 然後才慢慢咀嚼品嚐.  樣子還很享受. 大家看得目定口呆, 心想 “有冇咁狼呀”.  再給她一塊, 情況也一樣.

不知不覺中, 給6-7個月大bb食用的米餅, 對她而言, 已是輕易可以消滅的東西了.

Guess what she has for dinner…

Baby was having salmon congee for dinner tonite.  She has taken salmon for a few meals recently and had been happy with it except this time.  Not a single bite, not even a look!!  Daddy guessed she may be teething again & thus not feeling well (but I wondered).  But anyway, she got her way - skip dinner!! 

Soft-hearted Daddy & Mummy fearing the poor little one was hungry started to feed her with cheese, teething & non-teething biscuit, milk & chilling cold vanilla ice-cream!!  Wow…these are yummy.  She greeted them all with “Mmmmmmm” & happy kicks.  So, is she really teething ??

Does she really know it’s Saturday ?Weekdays, she always wake up late - 8:00, 8:30 or even 9:00.  But on Saturdays & Sundays, just like a cuckoo clock, sharp 7:30 the baby clock will strike “ieeeeeee”.

Today is no exception.  Hearing the “clock” struck at 7:30, I quickly got to the next room, stop the ”clock” with the soother & got out stealthily.  “Good Job” me thought.

Daddy was up too & couldn’t resist to peek at the “cuckoo clock”.  Oh gosh, just one peep, and there she went .  So, that’s it.  Saturday and you can’t sleep through 7:30

Carmen 今天來探望baby每次有客到訪, baby表現總會令人滿意 (嫲嫲除外, 何解 ??) :

• 尊注地看Baby Einstein
• 乖乖地吃下姐姐准備的生菜, 洋蔥, 豬肉粥
• 開心地跟Carmen姨姨玩波波

正因為這樣, 才逗人喜愛.  又莫非她知道carmen姨姨是她衣服來源之一??

She finally need to bath in the bathroom.  After she has had her crawling exercise, we prepared her for bathing.  As usual, we headed off to the bathing cabinet in her room.

I put her in the tub and, in a split second, she splashed with both hands and then both legs.  This time, she splashed with sooooo much force and might that, before I could even react, a quarter of the water was gone, walls & cabinet dripping with bubbles, floor mat soaked with soapy water and her face was, of course, expressing “THAT WAS FUN, Mummy”. 

So off we went to the bathroom where she continued to splash & kick, splash & kick….

今天初嘗自由爬行滋味. 於晚飯過後, 洗澡前,  我們讓baby嘗試在地上自由爬行. 

哇!  手腳著地那一刻, 即如賽車開跑一般, ” 比油, 去>>>>>>>>> “

可惜沿途太多障礙物, 加上車輛性能未如理想 (仍以蝶泳式前進), 左轉右轉, 還在客廳tum tum轉.

好不容易才進入走廊通道, 又遇上”琦琦”.  可憐的小琦, 眼見以往只能靠別人 “抱來抱去” çš„ “外人” 如今迎面而來, 面上只有浮現一句 “唔係呱 ?!”,  然後便怱怱逃去.  而minnie亦問 “點解會咁o家??”…

無論如何, baby終於來到主人房探險.  baby自由行才發現她最想到的地方, 原來是洗手間!!!
